On Monday, March 2^nd, at approximately 6pm, a 13-year old boy was approached on an SCR hiking trail by a male dressed in all black clothing with his face completely covered.  The male attempted to grab the boy, who was fortunately able to wriggle out of his shirt and run away.  The boy is physically safe with the exception of a few bruises.  The incident occurred on the hiking trail that runs from Kingsley on the western side behind the Avenues at Shadow Creek apartments to E. Clear Lake Loop on the eastern edge.  No other details are available at this time.  Please talk to your children about stranger danger and consider escorting them to and from area activities for the immediate future.
